What services do I offer?
The services I offer are myriad: I teach lessons in the playing of saxophone, piano, harmonica, guitar, and violin. In addition to those, I also give lessons on composition, songwriting, and music theory for any and all instruments.
If that wasn’t enough, I also teach lessons in chess, and academic tutoring (I am a certified public school teacher, and have years of experience working with students both child and adult, including those with special needs).
The credentials for all of my claims can be proven on my Wyzant profile; Wyzant requires a full and thorough background check for all teachers, as well as examinations to prove your subject knowledge.
I customize your lessons based upon your skill and experience level, and work at the pace that you demand. I will work with the student and/or their parent or legal guardian to craft lesson plans and a learning strategy that will be mutually beneficial.
Whatever genre or style of music you desire to learn, say the word and I will teach it to you!
In addition to this, I also tune and repair all of the instruments I teach: pianos (both traditional and digital), guitars, violins, saxophones, harmonicas, and trumpets, and any electronic variants of the same. I’d also be more than willing to try to repair any other instruments as well.
If that wasn’t enough, I have also recently begun branching out into lutherie, designing and creating my own instruments. These are predominantly simple woodwinds (Such as fifes, flutes, and panpipes), but I have also begun doing simple string instruments as well, and I could help you realize any designs that you have. More information on my lutherie can be found in this link here
