My lesson pricing is uniform for all subjects:
$32.50 for a half hour
$50 for 45 minutes
$65 for an hour
Other pricing and time lengths can be discussed.
These prices remain the same no matter how we do the lesson: Whether the lesson is online, you come to my home, or I travel to your home, the prices are identical. The only exception to this rule is if I have to travel a particularly long distance; if that is the case, then I may have to add an additional $10 surcharge. This will depend on a case by case basis.
The first lesson in any subject has a 100% money back guarantee—if you are not satisfied with your lesson, you can get a full refund.
Repairs and tuning costs are dependent upon the condition of the instrument in question, and the labor cost therein. Similarly to the money back guarantee for lessons/tutoring, if you are not satisfied with the repair/tuning job I have done, I guarantee a full refund for those tasks as well.
Related to the above, if you want a custom made woodwind (fife, panpipe, recorder, etc.), the price will depend on the type of instrument and the material requested. Materials can include various plastics, various woods, or bamboo (my scientific background would be quite remiss if I referred to bamboo as a “wood”). The lutherie page can be found here
